Black as coal, as good as few others because it is prepared with stone-ground semi-wholemeal flour and refined coconut charcoal. A carbon obtained by drying coconut filaments which makes the bread very black even without the addition of colourants. Furthermore, the sourdough starter, the processing without animal derivatives and the use of vegetal charcoal make the bread 100% vegan. The 48-hour leavening at a controlled temperature is followed by 8 hours of natural leavening at room temperature.
Furthermore, charcoal by its very nature is a natural regulator of the bacterial flora of the intestine.
